SANCH Electronix Ltd. recently launched in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, the first in its new Pan in Education series of compact discs that are designed for use by music teachers in primary, secondary and music schools locally and internationally.

CD 1 contains 13 tracks that were composed by Mark Loquan, Honorary member of STEELPAN EUROPEAN. Among the arrangers featured are: Jit Samaroo, Edwin Pouchet, Pelham Goddard, Cary Codrington, Kerry Brown and Amrit Samaroo. Steel Orchestras include RENEGADES, SILVER STARS, EXODUS, TROPICAL ANGEL HARPS, SKIFFLE BUCNCH, THE NATIONAL STEEL ORCHESTRA, ST. AUGUSTINE GIRL'S HIGH SCHOOL and STEELPAN LOVERS of Finland.

CD 2 has detailed information concerning each tune on CD 1 including the original recorded version with vocals and the score. The lyrics are also available. Staying with the music, one can isolate any one of the groups of instruments; be it's the tenor, seconds, cellos, bass or even percussion in order to learn those either by ear or from the score.
