FIRST DUTCH STEELBAND DAY

De Kwakel.
At the moment we have 15 Dutch Steelbands and 1 Belgium Steelband including the Dutch Navy Steelband and the Dutch Police Steelband.
We would like to bring all these Steelbands for a day together.
All steelbands can perform and meet each other. There will be workshops and information stands. We still do not know if we will invite foreign steelbands. It depend on the amount of Dutch performers.
But....keep this day free to visit this Dutch Steelband Day.

Teacher Steelpan Bigband with over 200 youth players
Maching Band, Dancers & Flagwomen at the parade
Steelpan workshop for children and youth
Rhythm workshops for everybody
Masquerade competition for children
Explaining steelpan manufacturing by E.C.S.
Small and big steelband and music groups from Germany and abroad are welcome to perform on Sunday July 6th on 6 panyards in the Park from 11:00 a.m. until 06:00 p.m., including free food & accomodation for 2 days/nights.
